Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention System

In diesem Kurs erlenen Sie die Fähigkeiten, um eine Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)-bsierende Security Lösung aufzubauen. Damit reduzieren Sie das Sicherheitsrisiko für Ihre bestehende IT Infrastruktur und Anwendungen durch den Einsatz von Cisco IPS Features. Im Fokus steht der IPS Device Manager (IDM), der für Konfiguration und Management der Cisco IPS Sensor Platform sowie zur Ansicht und zur Reaktion auf IPS Sensor Alarms verwendet wird. Die Inhalte dieses Kurses bereiten auf den Test 642-627 (IPS) vor, der Teil der Zertifizierung zum CCNP Security sowie für die Zertifizierung zum Cisco IPS Specialist erforderlich ist.

This course is designed for Network Security Engineers who implement and maintain Cisco IPS solutions as well as individuals looking to obtain the CCNP Security Career Certification.

Attendees should meet the following prerequisites:

• CCNA Certification, ICND1 and ICND2 or CCNABC Required
• CCNA Security Certification IINS Required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS is an advantage

• Introduction to Intrusion Prevention and Detection, Cisco IPS Software, and Supporting Devices
• Installing and Maintaining Cisco IPS Sensors
• Applying Cisco IPS Security Policies
• Adapting Traffic Analysis and Response to the Environment
• Managing and Analyzing Events
• Deploying Virtualization, High Availability, and High Performance Solutions
• Configuring and Maintaining Specific Cisco IPS Hardware
