This course is intended for service technicians without OSCC-E knowledge, who will startup and implement Mitel OpenScape Concierge in a customer environment. It is the basis for additional OSCC-E Modules like AD-WEB, Remote Agent, etc. It covers the differences between versions 2, 3 and 3R1.
This course first covers the concepts and functionality of Mitel OpenScape Concierge and then turns to the configuration of SIP trunk routing for the Concierge Provider Service (CPS), which is required in the Mitel OpenScape 4000 or Mitel OpenScape Voice for connecting Mitel OpenScape Concierge. The installation of the Concierge Server will be discussed and practiced. The basic configuration of the server using the System Management application will be discussed and practiced before moving on to the application configuration with the Concierge Data Center application and the routing of calls using the Concierge application. A further section will provide you with the knowledge to configure the Contact Data Provider (CDP) so that the electronic telephone book (ETB) can be populated with data from the customer's environment. Further integrations with Mitel OpenScape Contact Center, with presence providers (such as Mitel OpenScape UC, Skype for Business, or Microsoft Teams), or calendar integration with Microsoft Exchange can be discussed as needed. The Operation and Maintenance chapter concludes with the knowledge required for patching and backup and restore.
